Winemaker’s notes
Pepe Fuster’s estate of 26 hectares of organically farmed vines has been in his family for generations. Over 10 years ago he started making wines with Ed and Bruce under the La Báscula label. These 3 long standing friends and partners have embarked on a new, joint project to create this wonderful, complex, ethereal and delicious red wine from Pepe’s oldest blocks of Carinyena and Garnatxa. Nearly a year brooding in French oak barrels has honed and enhanced this splendid wine’s complexity.
