2019 Bruce Jack ‘Heartbreak Grape’ Pinot Noir
£35.80 / Per Bottle
Pinot Noir sidles up halfway through the bottle, revealing a hint of heaven and then leaving you heartbroken. This starts the obsession. Some of us fall so hard we go beyond acquiring bottles, we plant the mercurial grape, usually in land that talks to our heart, not our head. This wine is from the deep, cold south, where storms smash frigid waves into the rocky coast and where winemakers dream of finding meaning in their lives and loves. It is ethereal and nuanced and perfectly poised to make you smile that knowing smile.

Very clean and pure. Fragrant and floral nose. Strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry joy on the palate. Juniper bitters. Sweet spices from start to finish. Very enjoyable!
Pair with slow-braised wild rabbit rack on a bed of shredded fried parsnips and roasted pine nuts.
Cellared respectfully this wine will develop gracefully for at least two decades after harvest.
